OPW BOTTOM LOADING ARMS Some of the benefits bottom loading systems provide over top loading: The operator of the loading arm stays on the ground and not atop a vehicle, where falls are a common threat. Bottom load systems create less turbulence in the tank, reducing the danger of generating static electricity. Bottom loading island are generally simpler and cheaper to build than top loading racks. |

OPW TOP LOADING
ARMS Some benefits of top loading: An efficient means of loading and unloading railcars and trucks in many situations. Properly designed, the top loading system has sufficient horizontal reach to access the farthest compartment without re-spotting the vehicle. Sufficient vertical movement and drop-pipe lengths to service vehicles of varying heights is another necessity with a top load system. |

OPW MODEL E-32-F
ONE ARM/FIXED REACH Top loader. Primarily used to load and unload railcars through open domes in installations where the cars can be accurately spotted. Includes valve, torsion spring balance, ductile iron inlet swivel, aluminum drop swivel and tube, remote control. Can also be used for tank truck installations, where some allowance for 'mis-spotting' is possible and increases as the diameter of the hatch opening increases. Valves can be located inboard or outboard to facilitate loading. Adaptable to tight-fill or closed-system loading when equipped with additional swivel planes of rotation and/or drop hose along with the required outboard coupling, union or fitting. Available in 2", 3" and 4". 2" version has threaded inlet connection. Available in steel, stainless steel, aluminum and specialty alloys. |

OPW MODEL C-32-RF
SCISSOR STYLE Top loader. Long range, scissors-style assembly, commonly used to handle high flow rates and withstand rough usage in tank truck loading applications. Includes inboard valve, torsion spring balace, flanged inlet (except 2" version; threaded inlet), remote control, ductile iron inlet swivel, loading valve, vacuum breaker, aluminum primary arm, intermediate and drop swivels and drop tube. Also a good choice for railcar loading sites where the railcars are frequently 'mis- spotted' . Designed specifically for applications where a variable operating range is required. The secondary arm rotates 360° in the horizontal plane, providing a spotting allowance of up to twice its length . Adaptable to tight-fill or closed-system loading when equipped with additional swivel planes of rotation and/or drop hose along with the required outboard coupling, union or fitting. Available in 2", 3" and 4". Available in steel, stainless steel, aluminum and specialty alloys. Choice of flanged, threaded or all-welded construction. |
