Position: Pipe Fabrication & Installation Helper

What We Are Looking For:   Experienced and Trainees Steel Pipe Fabrication & Installation work for our Fabrication& Install team in Troutdale, Oregon.  Our team offers design, sales & installation services of refueling equipment for the Aviation, Marine & Mission Critical industries.  Learn a unique & interesting craft in how to build fuels systems for Aircraft, Helicopters, Marine installations.  In addition, we build fuel systems for Hospitals, Data Centers, commercial buildings & more known as Mission Critical applications.  Work in Troutdale, Oregon, occasionally around the Pacific Northwest.

Who We Are:  Mascott Equipment Company is a Petroleum Equipment Distributor specializing in; Service, Sales and Construction work.  Based in Portland, Oregon with six offices throughout the Pacific Northwest and Alaska.  We have been in business for 62 years and continue to grow and expand our footprint with 125+ employees in 4 Northwest States.

 Our customers: We service the most recognizable names in aviation fueling, Marine, Mission Critical industry.   Gasoline and diesel dispensers and pumps, point of sale consoles, electronic monitoring equipment, electrical needs, environmental testing, fueling polishing and light construction.   Mascott is the leading authority in the Pacific Northwest.

Team members are required to have a valid driver’s license, ability for some light travel up to 20 % of time, with some overnight travel.   Willing to contribute to a safe working environment and offer input for better safety and efficiency.  Solid mechanical aptitude and a great attitude are required.

Helpful Experiences in Any of the following Areas:  

  • Some knowledge of use & care for common construction/fabrication hand tools
  • GTAW, SMAW and MIG Welding a plus
  • Soldering, and torch cutting
  • Pipe fitting, layout and threading
  • Jig fabrication
  • Forklift, scissor lift, boom lift experience
  • Ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings
  • Petroleum Industry experience
  • Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, ETC

 

Regularly requires standing, bending, climbing and moving about our shop & our customers facilities.  Constant exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes and odors.  Must be able to lift approximately 50-70 pounds. With a mechanical aptitude, good work ethic and a great can-do attitude. Travel up to 20% of time.
