Our customers: We service the industry’s most recognizable names and customers’ equipment in the retail, commercial, Aviation and mission critical markets: Gasoline and diesel dispensers and pumps, point of sale consoles, electronic monitoring equipment, electrical needs, environmental testing, fueling polishing and light construction.
Who We Represent: The leading manufacturers in our Industry such as; Wayne-DFS dispensers, VeriFone point of sale consoles, LSI Lighting, ChargePoint, OPW Fueling, Fuel Master, Franklin Fueling, NOV Fiberglass, and more.
What We Are Looking For: We are currently interviewing for an Outside Sales Rep for the Spokane – Northeast area of Washington and into Idaho.
What We Want: A successful Outside Sales Representative will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious sales and revenue growth objectives. The Outside Sales rep must work with each department within the organization and must be a team player to be successful. In this position you will be selling Petroleum Dispensing Equipment to various businesses. You need to focus on understanding and meeting or exceeding our customer’s needs. Customer visits, and tradeshows with overnight travel are a must.
Personal Skill Sets Needed to be Successful: This is a customer service position, always focusing on their needs. Some of the contact is via telephone and therefore requires excellent phone skills and the ability to maintain a high degree of vocal enthusiasm and politeness. You will need to multitask and manage your priorities, with the customer always first.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Excellent customer service and teamwork
- Answering phone calls and emails timely and efficiently.
- Write Sales Orders and Quotes in computer system – ERP & CRM
- Ability to shuffle schedule and priorities ongoing throughout the day, and week.
- Monitor the progress of projects to ensure on-time completion and follow-up as needed. Concept to completion Required.
- Keeping customer informed and updated on any anticipated changes
- Review and follow-up on pending quotes
- Build long term mutually beneficial customer relationships – so they think of Mascott first
- Listen to what the customer is saying
- Weekly Sales Plan/ Reporting to the Director of Sales
- Scheduled and Random Customer visits
- Safety while on job sites, driving to visits and traveling
- Must be punctual and have strong work ethic
- Tradeshows and overnight travel are required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
Regularly requires sitting, standing, stairs and moving about various facility. Exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes and odors. Driving your auto.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Education – Some college preferred
- Experience – 2+ years excellent Sales and Customer Service experience
- Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook required
- Previous experience with CRM software & ERP a plus
- Previous mechanical, auto, industrial, tooling, fueling, equipment, etc. sales are beneficial.
- Must have clean driving record & reliable vehicle with insurance coverage.

Mascott does require background check & drug testing for all employees and DMV when needed. DMV is needed for this position.
Benefits: Medical, Dental, vision, life, vacation, sick, holiday, Mileage reimbursement at .54 cents per mile with a maximum of $1,000 monthly.
Wages: $70,000 annually to start. After training your sales will be evaluated monthly once they are significant. Your wage will be reduced and you will be added to the commission program.
